About the role Join our dynamic team as an Architect where you will leverage your extensive experience in ORO Commerce Full Stack Engineering with PHP to design and implement innovative solutions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our product content and information management systems. This hybrid role offers flexibility of day shifts and does not require travel allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to impactful projects. In this role, you will: - Design and develop comprehensive architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and technologies. - Lead the development of scalable and efficient PHP-based applications to enhance commerce platforms. - Oversee the implementation of best practices in software development and system architecture. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning. - Analyze and optimize existing systems to improve performance, scalability and reliability. - Ensure the security and compliance of all developed solutions with industry standards. - Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality code and adherence to architectural standards. - Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and processes. - Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in a hybrid work model environment. Based on this roleu2019s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Tampa, FL . What you need to have to be considered + Possess a strong background in Commerce Full Stack Engineering with a focus on ORO Commerce platform. + Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing complex software architectures. + Exhibit proficiency in product content and information management systems. + Have a proven track record of leading successful software development projects. + Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Display strong communication and collaboration abilities. + Hold a relevant certification such as Certified PHP Developer or equivalent. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $112.500 - $132.000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
