The Associate Sample Preparation Technicianposition is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position. Individuals located in adriving distance of the Madison, WI location are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Learns to perform any combination of sample preparation tasks to ensuresample homogeneity which includes but is not limited to labeling,transferring, liquid nitrogen use, milling, blending, weighing, disposalof samples, etc. Learns to communicate sample information Communicates discrepancies to appropriate personnel Learns to handleinternal customer inquiries and requests Performs other relatedduties as assigned The ideal candidate would possess: Strongcomputer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellentcommunication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability towork independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability,and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, performmultiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, followinstructions, and comply with company policies 6+ months of relatedexperience desired Customer service skills including attention todetail, accuracy, confidentiality, and communication skills Abilityto identify and communicate customer service needs Overtime andweekend work as required Will be exposed to potential food allergens(ex.
