Project Engineer I and II

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a ProjectEngineer to oversee the review, analysis, management, and resolution offield coordination issues with project team members and participants.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowingcandidates to apply based on their experience and pensation for this role is determined based on factors such asexperience and location. RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret project plans,specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft personsImplement pre-construction quality plan and manage construction permitsDevelop and maintain Material Tracking List, Project Test and InspectionListing, Concrete Placement Log, Non-Conformance Report Manage, create,and distribute contract documents, including RFIs and correspondenceOversee testing and inspection processes, implementing a three-phaseinspection system Manage submittals, ensuring timely processing andalignment with project schedule Coordinate subcontractor details,including insurance verification and final payment requests Develop anddistribute RFIs and Change Orders, updating as-built constructiondocuments Build relationships across diverse backgrounds andorganizational levels Lead team members by example, providing coaching,feedback, and performance management QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degreein Construction, Civil or Architectural Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or equivalent experience Current driver's licenseDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple project tasks Basicunderstanding of construction law and business practices Strongteamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadershipskills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project, and relevant webapplications Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesActive listening and effective communication skills, open to diverseinput and feedback Project Engineer 1: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two yearsof related experience The base pay range for this role is $84,100 -$113,500 Project Engineer 2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three years ofrelated experience The base pay range for this role is $93,400 -$126,100 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations:Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%,Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range basedon several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, andexperience, with consideration given to internal equity. This positionis eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
