You'll have the chance to work independently while supporting a variety of different operational activities.What You Will Be DoingReceive and sort healthcare-related mailCarry out established procedures in handling incoming mail, sorting it by form type, distributing it, and operating equipment associated with mail activitiesVerify, document, and bundle according to procedureEnsure items are batched appropriately for scanning into document scannerReceive packages, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect conditionGather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specificationsResearch and pull documents from record retentionPrint and mail outgoing lettersClean and operate scan equipmentWork within limited time requirementsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED requiredMail processing experienceHealthcare experience is preferredCapacity to lift or move up to 30 poundsProficient written and oral communication skills interacting with colleagues and/or external clientsFamiliar with office environment of policies and proceduresWorking knowledge of mail services processesStrong data entry skills and experience using Microsoft Office software, the internet, postage meters, and other general office equipmentAbility to work timely, effectively, and independentlyWhat We Offer YouA career at FIS is more than just a job.
