Staff Embedded Firmware Test Lead (Onsite)

Stryker is seeking a Staff Embedded Firmware Test Lead to create verification plans and test methods to support testing various life saving devices. This role will lead a team of engineers to ensure testing meets design requirements. What You Will Do u2022 Lead the Test development of software components in alignment with requirements and architecture defined. u2022 Take a hands-on approach while writing Test Scripts and Debugging Test Failures. u2022 Provide Test Development Schedules, work estimates, Sprint Planning and drive Test Development process to completion on any given product. u2022 Apply and mentor others on advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts. u2022 Improve Automation frameworks. u2022 Conduct technology exploration in SW Testing. u2022 Facilitate Defect/Bug Resolution collaboratively along side Quality Department and Design Engineers. u2022 Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a leader on the team. What You Need (Required Qualifications) u2022 Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 4+ years of work experience. Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired) Technical Skills: u2022 Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++. Design and Development Skills: u2022 Experience with CAN, I2C, Serial, SMBUS Protocols. u2022 Knowledge in integration and deployment processes Software Process Skills: u2022 Software Development Life Cycle processes. u2022 Knowledge in creating estimates for Test Development. u2022 Knowledge from using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools. u2022 Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
