As a Gas SCADA Analyst, you will be part of a growing business offering that is at the nexus of energy management, advanced analytics, and cyber security. In this role, you will be a liaison between cross-functional IT groups and the control room Operators, helping to ensure reliable energy delivery to our customers. We look for individuals that have integrity, expertise, and a drive to contribute to the future success of our team.What you will do:You will be responsible for supporting the multi-site, high availability Gas SCADA system. You will ultimately assist in support and troubleshooting the operational SCADA environment as well as insuring optimized monitoring and reporting for solid system reliability. You will be responsible for engaging with the customer, guiding and leading them through solutions, and ultimately delivering successful projects.Job ResponsibilitiesWhile the below list signifies different systems and technologies that our team comes in contact with. Currently PSE is searching for a Senior SCADA Analyst who has experience working with Aveva's OASys DNA and OSIsoft PI application and depending on their level has experience in some/most of the other areas listed below:Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of a mission critical, high availability IT monitoring and control system (SCADA)Enhance and maintain all primary and peripheral systems that make up the Gas SCADA environmentDesign, develop, deploy and support applications to meet the needs of primary and secondary internal customersDesign and oversee the implementation of vendor and 3rd party supplied system enhancements/products to the mission critical system infrastructureCollaborate with applicable parties to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot remote devices and systems of varying types and complexity using all available resources in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Security, Systems and Database Administration staff to maximize the effectiveness of enhancement and maintenance effortsSupports and troubleshoots the operational SCADA environment as well as insuring optimized monitoring and system reliability reportingConfigure and maintain alarm management of SCADA system alarms for gas controllers, customers and SCADA staffInstall and configure the PI System in redundant environments including but not limited to Interface Failover, PI Collective, Load Balanced AF Server, SQL AlwaysOn, Clustered Notifications and Analysis, Load Balanced PI VisionDeploy and configure the patches in multiple gas domainsMentors and trains lower-level analystsConfigure and ensure that all telemetry and controls are available and accurateTechnologies/Applications in Scope:OASYS DNA Suites and interfacesOSIsoft Pi Historian and interfacesC ProgrammingMODBUS / DNP3 / Mercury / PI to PIMicrosoft Servers 2012 and above & SQL Server 2008 R2 and aboveCommunications and connectivity (MODBUS/DNP/Mercury/Pi to Pi Connections)
