Assist pharmacist in the dispensing of prescriptions.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma/GEDu00a0Completion of a pre-employment drug screen required.u00a0Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:u00a0 Pharmacy technician registration or Student-Controlled Substance Registration with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy.u00a0Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of procedures and standards for the labeling and dispensing of prescribed medications. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.u00a0Responsibilitiesu00a0u00a0Assists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions; counts, packages, and labels dosages.
