JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview JOB SUMMARY The Business Intelligence andData Visualization Analyst will partner with the Manager of BusinessIntelligence & Analytics as well as cross-functional leaders anddepartments on a growth journey by transforming operational data intoactionable insights and measurable business value. This role isresponsible for the design, implementation, and development of reportingand analytics solutions, with particular emphasis on data visualizationsacross Supply Chain (procurement, sales, distribution, operations andfinance) and beyond. The ideal candidate must have a strongunderstanding of data visualization and an ability to deliver engaging,information data stories using a variety of techniques and tools. Thisrole requires a strategic thinker with a solid technical skill set andthe ability to interact with cross-functional leaders and departmentswithin the organization to find, consolidate, and manipulate data frommultiple large data sets; analyze and understand results; and createreports, presentations, and/or dashboards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Data Analysis and Data Visualization: Assist withenterprise-wide reporting and analytics, translating complex data intodashboards that empower all teams making up the Supply Chain(procurement, finance, sales, operations, and distribution). Developdata strategies-specifically around data structures, identifyingcritical information, as well as the tools used to retrieve and analyzethe data. Performs research and analysis on large data sets, includingdata exploration, trending, modeling, etc. Analyze businessintelligence needs and requirements and provide data storage,analytical, or reporting tools in response. Recommend dataarchitecture and engineering structures necessary to support reports anddashboards. Create dashboards, automated reports, report templates,and presentations. Using advanced data visualization tools, such asPower BI, to provide an easy-to-understand interface for end users toquickly identify key themes within data. Develop standard or customreports, queries, or dashboards that access and consolidate informationfrom a variety of data sources and provide ongoing support for datausers. Utilize data mining techniques and develop data models toassist in the visualization and interpretation of data. Assist withinfluencing business decisions through analytics and identifyactionable, data-driven insights. Responsible fordaily/weekly/monthly reporting on business trends and the status ofdigital experience initiatives for senior management. ContinuousImprovement: Understand and analyze interactive dashboards andreports in Power BI or One Steam to track KPIs, operational performance, financial metrics, and business outcomes. Participant inand complete end-to-end analytics projects: from scoping businessquestions, extracting and validating data, performing analysis, topresenting actionable findings and driving implementation. Asdirected by the Manager, create and continuously improve dashboards anddata analysis to support internal stakeholders ensuring insights areeasily accessible and actionable. Inform Manager on cutting edge dataanalytics and visualization technologies, that assist with thecontinuous improvement of processes and solutions. Support strategicinitiatives aimed at cost efficiency, process improvement,organizational design, and margin optimization. Maintain currentknowledge of updates to Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop and theability to incorporate necessary and desired updates into new andexisting reports. Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of dataacross all platforms and systems.
