Job Description The primary responsibilityof this position is to provide assistance and support to the productionteam during makeready. Makeready team members will be involved inequipment preparation, plate mounting, ink mixing, and makereadyactivities in the production areas of the WI facilities. The purpose ofthis team is to provide assistance, supplies and services to allproduction equipment (MP, etc.) in order to reduce makeready andincrease manufacturing efficiencies. Team member must work in a teamenvironment with minimum supervision, cooperate and work with others,share information and take the initiative to improve the makereadyprocess and solve problems.Responsible for training and supporting newand existing team members. Qualifications Good knowledge of installationand repair of more complex equipment and machinery (including theirlubricating and control systems, and power drives) Ability to examineand troubleshoot to determine the extent of repairs required, materialsor parts needed, and to estimate the time required to complete repairsAbility to interpret and apply the requirements contained in technicalmanuals, shop directives, multiview blueprints, and other documents indetermining critical dimensions and key reference points Generalknowledge of setting up and operating machine tools such as smalllathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinders tomanufacture component parts or re-machine existing parts Responsible fortraining new and existing team members.
