JOB REQUIREMENTS: United States - WI - Green Bay Production SupervisorFull-Time, Permanent Green Bay, WI Graymont is currently seeking awell-organized, highly motivated individual to fill the position ofProduction Supervisor at our Green Bay, WI facility. The successfulcandidate will possess a strong technical background, enjoy working withpeople, and have a willingness to improve chemical and mechanicalprocesses in the industrial minerals industry. The Production Supervisorreports to the Plant Manager and works a typical Monday through Fridayschedule. We value safety at Graymont, and we are looking for someonewho holds the same value. This individual will be responsible for thedaily supervision of several plant processes, including two rotary kilnsand one hydrator, rail car loading and unloading, and truck loading.Responsibilities: Ensure the highest safety standards are achieved andgiven top priority in plant operations and be willing to lead abehavior-based safety approach with the hourly team. Lead and develop aneffectively engaged workforce within the plant that works well withother functions: maintenance, sales, human resources, engineering etc.Manage the Process Optimization Program (POP) in conjunction with othermembers of the POP team. Identify, analyze, and implement processimprovements. Assist operations and maintenance in determining the rootcause of problems causing equipment failure or process upsets anddevelop corrective solutions. Keep abreast of the latest technologicaldevelopments related to the lime industry. Utilize technology andtroubleshooting skills to identify/propose improvements for theprocesses. Be the main contact for the Graymont process group. Workforcescheduling and daily work deployment. Communication with hourlyemployees on night shift and weekends. Work with sales and customerservice and other Graymont facilities to coordinate rail car loading andinventory. Help optimize operations and control loops of process viaprocess control system HMI. Attend weekly planning/scheduling meetingsbetween maintenance and production to determine short- and long-termpriorities. Manage short- and long-term emissions limits for all kilnprocesses. Support maintenance activities to ensure that equipmentsafety, reliability and production requirements are achieved. Orderparts and supplies; schedule and supervise contractors as needed.
