Landscape Laborer

Performs golf course construction and maintenancefunctions, including but not limited to laying sod, fitting pipes,digging trenches by hand to install irrigation systems, and mowing. Thepurpose of the trenches, if needed, will be to install irrigation pipingand drainage piping. To create the trenches, the employees will use handtools and shovels. The trenches, if needed, will reach an expectedmaximum depth of 36 in. and an expected maximum width of 18 in. at theirlargest points. $19.42/hour paid weekly. 40hrs/wk. 7:00am - 5:00pm,Sunday - Saturday. OT as needed ($29.13/hour). Optional housingprovided free of charge for employees outside of commuting distance. HLwill use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. HLwill make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.Transportation (including meals, and to the extent necessary, lodging)to the place of employment will be reimbursed by company check if theworker completes half the employment period. Return transportation willbe paid by HL if the worker completes the employment period or isdismissed early by HL. The amount of transportation payment orreimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable commoncarrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be providedat a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of$68.00 per day with receipts. HL will reimburse workers for visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and related fees, including those mandatedby the government (excluding passport fees and charges primarily for theworkers benefit), within the first workweek. HL will provide workers atno charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform thejob.High school diploma/GED required. 3 months experience in laying pipe andinstalling sprinkler heads for irrigation.
