Summary The Fargo VA Health Care System is recruiting for 1 full-time Social Worker to provide care to inpatient medical surgical units under the Social Work department. The incumbent provides social work services to Veterans who receive care on the inpatient medical/surgical units at the Fargo VA Health Care System. The incumbent assesses patient social and psychological factors relative to their chronological development, completes comprehensive psychosocial assessments regarding patient, family, economic, community, and psychosocial support systems. The assessments must reflect a high level of skill in gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting data that is pertinent and directly related to patient health care planning, treatment, education and case management.
