Director of IT Services Job Category: Management Requisition Number:DIREC001117 Full-Time On-site Springfield, MA 01103, USA The Director ofIT Services serves as the leader of the infrastructure and servicemanagement divisions of the technology department within a growing andinnovative Community Health Center. This role includes responsibilityfor managing day-to-day help desk operations, participating in andensuring delivery of IT projects, implementation of IT ServiceManagement (ITSM) best practices and standard operating procedures, andensuring seamless function of critical IT infrastructure. This newlydeveloped position at Caring Health Center is responsible for thetechnology infrastructure (network, servers, systems and theirusability) and ensures best in class IT Service Management delivery forapproximately 400 end users. Through internal staff members and managedservice providers, the Infrastructure Operations, Service and ProjectManager ensures the performance and integrity of existing servers,network infrastructure, telephony and end user hardware while planningand delivering on continuous improvements, upgrades, enhancements andensuring continuity of mission critical infrastructure, systems,applications and end point device usability. This role is expected tonot only oversee the technology infrastructure and service management,but be particularly adept at project management and delivery, withresponsibility to deliver on multiple, concurrent, mission criticalprojects at any given time utilizing both internal and outsourcedresources. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent andrelevant industry-specific certifications are required. Relevantcertifications for this role are project management (PMP), ITIL, ITSM,etc. Project Management certification and/or a proven and very strongtrack record in successful project execution, with a particularpreference for Agile project management methodologies. 10+ years ofexperience in a technology related field 5+ years of staff supervisionor leadership, preferably within a healthcare organization andpreferably with a mentor/coach leadership philosophy. Knowledge ofcontracting, budgeting and managing a combination of internal andoutsourced resources as part of a project team. Demonstrated ability tocreate, publish, evaluate and improve on standard operating procedures,especially as it relates to IT service management, hardware life cyclemanagement, service level agreements and identity management with astrong emphasis on ITSM and ITIL Best Practices. Advanced knowledge ofInfrastructure Technology, specifically, VMWare, Fortinet/gate, Extreme,SDWan, GSuite and/or MS 365, Cyber EDR, SOC and SIEM management and bestpractices for support, maintenance and quality assurance of systemoperation, stability and uptime.
