Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.HX5 is currently seeking a qualified IT Hardware Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.u00a0Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide support to the IRES Customer(s) by being a member of the MIT Asset Management Functional Team.- Be responsible for maintaining positive control of IT assets by actively tracking and maintaining physical location to- include both deployed and storage inventory counts.- Analyze the situation. Identify solutions, or corrections, to inventory accuracy and support the property team in- maintaining positive control over multiple inventory portfolios.- Sole POC/owner of hardware audit process for the DCCX customer.- Procurement facilitation and tracking via a dedicated artifact.- Communicate with vendors and resellers to collect budgetary estimates, confirmation of procurement details etc.- Tracking and receiving within the facility or warehouse storage.- CMDB/Database updates to include work vehicle completions based on both new requirements and sustainment efforts,- lifecycle management data, and all pertinent data needed to be tracked for the customer.- Researching inventory discrepancies.- Completing reoccurring monthly inventory scan audits and being an active and constructive team member for all asset- management requirements.- Support hardware disposition needs on assets like sanitization facilitation, excessing old or no longer needed assets, or- CD and hard drive destruction when necessary.- Help track and facilitate actions for our classified control documentation (NTX).- Be responsible for upholding asset management's policies and procedures.- Execute asset management functions at multiple locations by planning and coordinating access based on requirement.- Inventory, restock, and generally maintain several equipment storage locations.
