As experts in healthcare IT experts, Apex is committed to building systems for healthcare organizations to seamlessly communicate and exchange data across different systems and devices.Summary:The Lead Medical Materiel Specialist III shall include but are not limited providing supervision and overall operational responsibility for medical logistics functions to include advanced medical supply chain activities and biomedical equipment maintenance functions.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:This position shall oversee Medical Materiel Specialists level I and II activities and coordinate with the COROversee medical supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, storage, and distribution of medical materielEnsure medical logistics operations align with Air Force, DoD, and federal regulationsManage the acquisition, tracking, and replenishment of critical medical supplies for deployed and contingency operationsOptimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve response timesMaintain accountability and readiness of medical materiel to support mission requirementsResponsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGXConduct monthly reviews, and provides monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program complianceContractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinatorConduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and complianceTrack and document the usage of medical materialsAssist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipmentThe position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight, effective communication at all levels, integrated collaboration, and strategic readiness reportingWork independently at single-location sitesProvide management oversight of onsite contractor staffCoordinate logistics activities with base organizations, units, and government agenciesEnsure overall readiness and availability of unit ECMM (Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel), including general medical materiel management and warehouse activitiesServe as the vendor-contracted Air National Guard (ANG) Influenza Program Manager, responsible for logistical oversight and management of the influenza vaccination programAct as the focal point between the Surgeon General and ANG Medical Groups regarding the influenza programPerform program management and oversight of medical materiel operationsCommunicate effectively at all organizational levelsCollaborate in an integrated manner with stakeholdersProvide strategic readiness reportingSupervisory Responsibilities:This position has supervisory responsibilities to include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Expertise in medical logistics, supply chain management, and biomedical equipment maintenanceStrong leadership and supervisory skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Minimum Qualifications:
