The Sr Data Engineer collaborates with Data Engineers on analysis, architecture, design, and development of data warehouse and business analytics solutions. This role mentors other team members in their efforts to build data engineering skillsets.Job Responsibilities:Develop data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, visualization and analytical toolsDesign and develop data architectures in on-premise, cloud and hybrid platformsData wrangling of heterogeneous data, exploration and discovery in pursuit of new business insightsActively contribute to the team's knowledge and drive new capabilities forwardMentor other team members in their efforts to build data engineering skillsetsAssist team management in defining projects, including helping estimate, plan and scope workPrepare and contribute to presentations required by managementEducation and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related subject area or equivalent experience (Required)4-7 years - Developing cloud solutions using data series; experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud)4-7 years - Hands-on development using and migrating data to cloud platforms4-7 years - Experience in SQL, NoSQL, and/or relational database design and development4-7 years - Advanced knowledge and experience in building complex data pipelines with Python, Experience in languages such as SQL, DAX Python, Java, Scala, and/or GoKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Licenses and Certifications:Cloud platform certification(s) i.e. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) (Preferred)At least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:Travel Required (Yes/No): NoDOT Regulated:DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): NoSafety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): NoBase Pay Range: $105,100 - $189,600Corporate Bonus Target: 15%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
