Reference #: FMT0355Sechan Electronics is committed to the development, testing and manufacturing of military defense electronics systems and subsystems for the Department of Defense and Prime Contractors. u00a0As a leading Department of Defense contractor, our dedication to excellence has made us one of the most respected electronic manufacturers in the industry.Located in Lititz, PA and Lancaster, PA, we are currently accepting applications for a Facilities Maintenace Tech. u00a0Please review all of the below information and if you are qualified and interested apply todayThe Facilities Maintenance II performs general maintenance duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.Position Responsibilities:u2022 u00a0Perform duties in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner that complies with all company quality, safety and regulatory policies to include proper use of PPE.u2022 u00a0Perform facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services as assigned.u2022 u00a0Fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed.u2022 u00a0Repairs, replaces and maintains building systems and equipment to support production.u2022 u00a0Manages vendors during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.) and ensures vendors are in compliance with Sechan's security and safety protocols.u2022 u00a0Inspects and maintains building utility systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing).u2022 u00a0Assists facilities manager in gathering information and makes recommendations for facility repairs and projects.u2022 u00a0Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.u2022 u00a0Assist the facilities manager in developing goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as needed.u2022 u00a0Monitor inventory of required materials for the position. Report needs and adjustments to facilities manager.u2022 u00a0Respond to maintenance request as assigned through the CMMS (computer maintenance management system). Thoroughly document completed work in the CMMS.u2022 u00a0Assist in office relocations, moving furniture, dismantling/reassembling cubicles.u2022 u00a0Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.Skills & Abilities:u2022 u00a0Basic computer skills.u2022 u00a0Ability to use common hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, screwdrivers, paintbrushes and wrenches.u2022 u00a0Strong organizational and planning abilities.u2022 u00a0Strong verbal and written communication skills.u2022 u00a0Experience using Microsoft office(Outlook, Excel and Word)u2022 u00a0Extremely organized individualu2022 u00a0Can-do attitude, drive to take leadershipu2022 u00a0Ability to stay focused when working individually.u2022 u00a0Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsQualifications:u2022 u00a0High school diploma or equivalent.u2022 u00a0Vocational or Technical certification preferred.u2022 u00a03 years previous experience in HVAC, mechanical, electrical or plumbing systems.u2022 u00a0Strong technical knowledge of building systems (Electrical, HVAC, etc)u2022 u00a0Drivers License with reliable transportation to commute between facilities.Work Environment:u2022 u00a0Office, Warehouse, and Manufacturing floor; Requires physical capability to work up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.u2022 u00a09/80 work schedule.u2022 u00a0Office located in Lititz, PA, with occasional visits to Lancaster facility.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
