Security Asset Protection Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Security & Asset ProtectSpecialist will direct and guide the division security program with thepurpose of protecting division assets (lives, buildings, equipment, andinventory) and providing a secure working environment for allassociates. This position will be based out of Appleton, WI. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES Ensure internal controls are being followed and auditsystems Assist with investigations of internal and external theft andfraud and conduct interviews when appropriate Train team members on lossprevention tactics Administer a process for management of security andloss prevention matters including formulating and implementing policiesand programs that provide a secure working environment and protectdivision property Partner with Corporate Security Manager in theselection, installation, and maintenance of alarm systems, accesscontrol, and closed circuit television equipment that meet the needs ofthe business Manage key and access control for all assigned facilitiesConduct sensitive interrogations and interviews to gather importantpertinent information and document accordingly Lead investigation ofsecurity breaches and criminal acts and prepare detailed reports, makingrecommendations to avoid future loss wherever possible Conduct securityaudits at all facilities and provide recommendations to strengthensecurity and prevent losses Foster a working relationship with allapplicable law enforcement agencies in the municipalities where thedivision operates Research and stay current on emerging topics in lossprevention/assets protection Establish measurements and improvementobjectives for loss prevention across the corporation Design trainingand communication programs and SOPs related to associate security, lossprevention, and assets protection Review and analyze changes to local,state, and federal laws pertaining to security, and report necessary orsuggested responses to management Serve as a liaison and securitysubject matter expert for facility management, keeping them abreast ofkey issues, strategies and the department's performance Effectivelypartner with internal customers in evaluating current and futuresecurity services, processes and initiatives Proficient with MS OfficeProfessional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of ExcelQUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, related field, orequivalent...
