We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 3 Mac Support Specialist to join our clientsu2019 IT team. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system administration, and technical support for macOS-based devices across the organization. You will serve as the escalation point for complex issues and play a key role in maintaining a secure, efficient, and user-friendly Apple ecosystem. What youu2019ll do as the L3 Mac Support Specialist : _The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions._ _This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position, and the duties and responsibilities may change without notice._ u2022 Provide expert-level support for macOS, Apple hardware (MacBook, iMac, etc.), and related peripherals. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams. u2022 Manage and deploy macOS updates, patches, and security configurations using MDM tools (e.g., Jamf Pro, Kandji). u2022 Configure and maintain enterprise applications and services on Mac systems (e.g., VPN, email clients, collaboration tools). u2022 Collaborate with InfoSec to ensure compliance with security policies and encryption standards. u2022 Maintain documentation for support procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides. u2022 Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes, including device provisioning and decommissioning. u2022 Participate in IT projects involving Mac infrastructure, automation, and user experience improvements. u2022 Train and mentor junior support staff on Mac-related technologies and best practices. What you will bring to the team: u2022 5+ years of experience in IT support with a focus on macOS environments. u2022 Expert knowledge of macOS Ventura and Sonoma, Apple MAC Book hardware, and native tools. u2022 Proficiency with MDM platforms (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle) and scripting (Bash, Python, AppleScript). u2022 Familiarity with identity management (Okta, Azure AD), endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks. u2022 Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN technologies. u2022 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. u2022 Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or equivalent certification preferred. Preferred Qualifications u2022 Experience in a hybrid Windows/Mac enterprise environment. u2022 Knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD pipelines for Mac deployments. u2022 Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support tools.
