This academic appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level requires candidates to hold or be eligible for a Kentucky physician license, possess an MD/DO or equivalent degree, and be board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology.The faculty member will also collaborate on research activities for clinical projects and care reports, as well as participate in professional development activities such as regional, state, and national meetings.The Golisano Childrenu2019s Hospital at UK has Eastern and Central Kentuckyu2019s only Level I pediatric trauma center, Level IV newborn (neonatal) intensive care unit and pediatric intensive care unit. In addition, this facility houses more than 30 advanced sub-specialty programs, such as pediatric oncology and pediatric surgery.Our collaboration with the Cincinnati Childrenu2019s Heart Institute means we have joined forces to provide advanced pediatric heart care close to home for patients in Kentucky. The collaboration combines the strength of UK HealthCareu2019s advanced pediatric and adult congenital heart care with Cincinnati Childrenu2019s nationally ranked experts in pediatric cardiac care and surgery.To apply, please include a CV and cover letter along with application.
