The Molding Operator II is a mid-level role within Repligen’s Injection Molding manufacturing group. Based in cleanroom production suites, this position is responsible for manufacturing moderately complex molded parts that support the bioprocessing industry. These include multi-dimensional, dual-element, and high-demand parts.Building on the skills and experience of an Operator I, this role requires additional technical knowledge, independent problem-solving, and a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and safety. Molding Operator II employees will also be trained in processes that involve multiple mold tools, a higher level of precision detail as well as exceptional attention to quality standards. Join us!Manufacture all molded parts classified within the Operator II production level, including high-priority productsAdhere to all aspects of Repligen’s Quality Management System and Quality policyConsistently achieve or exceed production quantity and quality expectationsAccurately complete production paperwork for each job, ensuring traceability and complianceUnderstand the impact of timely and accurate project completion on downstream operationsDemonstrate readiness for more advanced assignments by excelling in Operator II responsibilities and supporting higher-level projectsManage time effectively to meet production deadlines and minimize downtimeProperly handle and maintain molds, ensuring cleanliness and preventing damageFollow procedures for the care, handling, and safe operation of molding equipment and toolsEducation and Work Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferredMinimum 2+ years of molding, production, or machine operation experience required; liquid injection molding experience preferredProven ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot molding equipmentStrong working knowledge of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet time-sensitive deadlinesReliable transportation required (location not accessible by public transit)Ability to read, write, and understand basic English requiredFlexibility to work overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyProlonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shiftsWork performed in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipmentOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $21/Hr. -$25/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
