Kimley-Horn is seeking a Practice Bilder to lead and expand our Land Development practice in fabulous Las Vegas! As a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn you will serve clients by winning and delivering exceptional work, managing projects profitably, and mentoring the next generation. This position offers extensive autonomy to lead, direct, and scale the practice with a forward-thinking approach.As a Practice Builder, you will build,grow, and develop a dynamic Land Development team, fostering and maintaining robust relationships with key clients. Your leadership responsibilities will include:Upholding the highest standards of integrity and sound business principlesSetting a clear vision, and developing strategic business plans and goalsEstablishing and achieving measurable goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsEnsuring transparent communication across your team and partnershipsGrowing and leading a top-tier land development practice8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExtensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land ownersStrong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3DBusiness development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitablyAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
