This is a travel position with job sites in OR, WA, and ID.TheTelecom Field Supervisor will oversee the operations of multiple construction sites and the daily activities at each site. She/he will be responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. He/she will supervise the foreman and crews performing work at each job site. This position will be accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.Pay: $85k-100k/yr + daily per diem + travel accommodations.Responsibilities:All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.Maintain strict build-out schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are metPerform inspection of job sites and individual work dutiesMaintain a daily job-site logPerform quality control duties per job siteParticipate in required supervisor meetingsEnsure that each team member is aware of quality and safety standards and company policiesAssist in training foreman and crew membersCreate and maintain positive relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractorsCoordinate with subcontractors and verify work is completedCoordinate construction services and activitiesEnsure job site safety is being metMediate disputes or complaints with third partiesApprove daily timecard submissions for foreman and crew membersQualifications:Must have 3-5years telecom experience1-3 years of experience as a construction foremanMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.A good driving record is required.Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.Class A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders).Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.Preferred Qualifications:Previous construction experienceAble to perform all duties in telecommunication constructionAbility to travel.Working Conditions:This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.Physical Requirements:The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 75 pounds.
