Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.RequiredGraduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire andMedical Radiographer: KY, upon hire andRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hirePreferredPrevious experience in CT not essential for all positions
