O365 Engineer

Job Description The Senior Engineer, Unified Communications/M365 will be expected to architect, support, and enhance our enterprise collaboration and messaging environment. The role will primarily support end-to-end email delivery operations and oversee the administration of M365 applications, including Teams, Exchange, and other key Microsoft applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange (Online and On-Prem), Proofpoint, and Metadact, and a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end email lifecycle across cloud and hybrid models. Experience with telephony/VoIP and SharePoint Online is a strong plus. u2022u2003Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Unified Communications solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid Exchange environments; u2022u2003Act as the subject-matter expert for all email architecture, including on-prem and cloud routing, mail flow design, authentication, message hygiene, and deliverability; u2022u2003Understand and assist in administering email security platforms, including Proofpoint, supporting policies, DLP, encryption, TAP, and routing; u2022u2003Support and maintain Metadact for metadata scrubbing, compliance, and secure content handling; u2022u2003Manage and troubleshoot the complete email lifecycle, including DNS, SMTP relays, connectors, transport rules, security controls, and message tracking; u2022u2003Oversee hybrid Exchange configurations, connectors, coexistence, and migration activities; u2022u2003Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support for complex messaging and unified communications issues; u2022u2003Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain consistent standards and ensure secure, high-performing UC services; Pay range between $109-141K We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
