Aircraft Detailer

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Detailer & Groundskeeping professional. This is a dual role responsible for ensuring the pristine condition of our aircraft and maintaining the cleanliness and order of our hangars. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and responsible, can work independently in an unsupervised environment, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform visual inspections of aircraft to identify key areas that require cleaning and create cleaning schedules based around flight schedules and aircraft availability. Perform comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft. Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored properly and safely. Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. Perform janitorial tasks throughout the hangars including cleaning office spaces, break rooms, restrooms and other areas as necessary. Perform light groundskeeping duties and ensure general tidiness of the immediate hangar perimeters. Report any found aircraft or building maintenance issues to management. MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management. Skills & Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly. Ability to operate equipment such as floor scrubber, scissor lift, forklift, and tractor (training will be provided). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and stand, bend, crouch, and stretch for prolonged periods of time. Abasic understanding of airport/aviation safety and security procedures is a plus.
