Overview Position: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) Location: Westminster, MD Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Compensation: Salaried, commensurate with experience Incentives: $10,000 Bonus and student loan payment program Our NovaCare Prosthetics & Orthotics center in Westminster is hiring a compassionate and driven ABC Certified full-time Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). The ideal candidate will oversee all stages of design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of prosthetic devices related to patientsu2019 needs, as indicated by a physician. American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics/Orthotics orthecompletion ofaResidencyProgram inProsthetics/Orthotics(Board Eligible),is required to be considered for this opportunity. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provideexceptionalcareforour patients andtogrow within our Prosthetics and Orthotics division. _Employer will not sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future and is not interested in corp.-to-corp. business arrangements at this time._ Benefits and Incentives : + Multiple health plans: PPO options through BC/BS and HSA + Dental/vision/prescription/disability/supplemental life insurance and more + Company matching 401(k) + Generous paid time off (PTO) and extended illness days (EID) + Indefinite student debt benefit program + Industrywide unmatched continuing education program + Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews Responsibilities + Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patientsu2019 needs, as indicated by a physician. + Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patientu2019s need for orthotic/prosthetic services. + Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. + Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. + Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. + Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. + Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. + Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. + Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. + Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. + Provides on-call services, as necessary. + Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary.
