Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Northern, Kentucky. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic industry environment while enhancing your accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Reconcile revenue and expenses, ensuring accurate data export into cloud-based ERP system. u2022 Generate daily management reports by consolidating information from various data sources. u2022 Perform job costing and reconcile project-related transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. u2022 Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records through invoice creation and customer statement reconciliation. u2022 Input financial data into ERP system and other accounting software systems with precision. u2022 Balance accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers with the general ledger. u2022 Collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members to resolve discrepancies and provide support. u2022 Assist in month-end closing activities and contribute to the annual audit process. u2022 Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed. u2022 Handle special projects and assignments as directed to support business objectives. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting is required. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on detail is preferred. u2022 Familiarity with cloud-based ERP system is highly advantageous. u2022 Proficiency in job costing methodologies is a plus. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software are essential. u2022 Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success.
