This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: LABOR POSITION TEMP TO HIRE1ST SHIFTHours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - Monday thru Friday - Overtime SaturdayPOSITION OVERVEW & PURPOSE:General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks to support the processof producing and shipping products in a variety of workstationsincluding but not limited to packing, wrapping, crating, loading,labeling, and maintenance, welding, grinding. This is a warehouseoperations position under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform various general labor as assigned by the Leadership Team.Works in warehouse area where tasks and job duties may vary (see aboveworkstations).Follow job orders according to customer specifications on the dailytravelers.May require retrieval of parts necessary for completion of finishedproduct.Understand and identify all components that comprise the finishedproduct.Report production and quality data as dictated in daily travelers tosupervisor.Always maintain an organized work environment, may require inspection bythe Leadership Team.Perform other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team to supportcompany goals.Participation in Safety Program.Based on proficiency may be required to train on warehouse workstationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Operate simple hand or power tools to pack/move required materials.Handle materials such as metal, poly, glue, etc.Must be able to lift to 75 pounds repetitively.Must be able to push and/or pull carts up to 75 pounds.Must use and be able to work with required PPE.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as twisting, pushing,pulling, and reaching.The noise level of the warehouse is moderate to loud.Based on proficiency could work under heavy to limited supervision.Uphold all safety standards applicable to the responsibilities above.Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
