Your day-to-day work will include: u2022 Assembling intricate mechanical components and systems using engineering specifications and blueprints u2022 Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to integrate wiring and electrical elements into assemblies u2022 Performing functional tests to ensure products meet design, quality, and performance standards u2022 Inspecting parts for proper assembly and cosmetic quality; identifying and tagging non-conforming parts for rework u2022 Using and maintaining assembly tools and equipment properly and safely u2022 Monitoring assembly supplies, maintaining inventory awareness, and communicating needs to your supervisor u2022 Completing production and quality documentation accurately and on time u2022 Following all safety guidelines to maintain a secure and efficient work environment u2022 Supporting additional manufacturing tasks as needed ________________________________________ Required Qualifications u2022 High school diploma or equivalent u2022 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics u2022 Ability to distinguish all colors u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Experience u2022 1u20132 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Skills That Set You Up for Success u2022 Clear verbal and written communication with teammates, supervisors, and other departments u2022 Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) u2022 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process issues and suggest solutions ________________________________________ Physical & Work Environment Expectations u2022 Ability to stand for extended periods on a concrete floor u2022 Regular movement including kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, or crawling as needed u2022 Ability to adjust visual focus and work with small, detailed components u2022 Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; heavier items with lifting assistance u2022 Traditional manufacturing shop environment with seasonal temperature variation u2022 Exposure to loud noise levels and occasional fumes or odors u2022 Required use of appropriate safety equipment and protective devices ________________________________________ Why Join Blackstone-Ney Ultrasonics?
