Your primary focus will be on managing construction activities related to transmission lines, substations, and distribution networks. Location This position will be located in one of our area offices and/or on one of our project sites in Ohio, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Kansas or Texas. Responsibilities Project Execution: u2022 Manage the overall construction activities on assigned projects. u2022 Coordinate material management, construction (EPC), and logistics efforts. u2022 Collaborate with multiple EPC/Design Build and Logistics contractors. u2022 Construction Planning and Coordination: u2022 Develop and review construction plans. u2022 Coordinate outage schedules. u2022 Plan commissioning activities. u2022 Ensure safety protocols are followed. Client Interaction: u2022 Interface directly with the client to report progress, costs, schedule, and risks. u2022 Provide regular updates on project status. u2022 Address any client concerns or inquiries. Team Collaboration: u2022 Work closely with Project Managers, schedulers, project controllers, and engineers. u2022 Oversee work assigned to general and logistics contractors. u2022 Conduct on-site construction management briefings. Communication and Reporting: u2022 Prepare reports reflecting project status, schedule, and uncertainties. u2022 Communicate effectively across program areas, including clients, project teams, and support personnel. Qualifications u2022 10+ years of experience in utility construction, electrical T&D, or substation industries. u2022 Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and industry standards. u2022 Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to manage demanding projects with ease. #LI-RF1 Working Conditions Insert here Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
