You will lead field operations using the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) modelu2014a progressive design-build approach that allows you to influence engineering and construction outcomes from the earliest stages. Location This position will be located in one of our area offices and/or on one of our project sites in Ohio, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Kansas or Texas. Responsibilities u2022 Lead field execution on high-voltage transmission and substation projects u2022 Mentor and develop junior superintendents and foremen u2022 Oversee subcontractor coordination and contract administration u2022 Drive client engagement and represent Kiewit in planning and problem-solving meetings u2022 Mentor and help to grow Jr. Superintendents u2022 Develop a program to maintain good client relations involving staff on site u2022 Initiate and attend supplementary and regular meeting with client for problem resolution and planning u2022 Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections u2022 Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover u2022 Maintain daily diary for record-keeping purposes u2022 Ensure that all performance evaluations and completed in a timely fashion for direct reports u2022 Recommend, where appropriate, organizational, policy, and procedural or staff changes u2022 Review and approve or reject promotions up to General Foremen. Qualifications u2022 8+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role on transmission or substation projects u2022 Proven ability to lead teams on complex, large-scale infrastructure projects u2022 Strong understanding of progressive design-build or ECI models is a plus u2022 Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills u2022 Self-starter with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement #LI-RF1 #LI-RF1 Working Conditions Insert here Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
