Description The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in the Finance department, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payables. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Process vendor invoices and payments across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies. u2022 Maintain and reconcile A/P ledgers, ensuring proper coding and documentation of transactions. u2022 Utilize cloud-based software for invoice management and payment processing. u2022 Manage employee expense submissions through Bill Spend and Expense cloud-based platform. u2022 Assist with month-end close activities related to A/P, including accruals and reporting. u2022 Support intercompany transaction tracking and reconciliation. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations. u2022 Assist with implementation and optimization of A/P processes and systems. u2022 Provide support for audits and compliance reviews as needed. u2022 Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS u2022 Associateu2019s degree in Accounting required; Bacheloru2019s degree preferred. u2022 Minimum of 3 yearsu2019 experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a multi-entity environment. u2022 Experience with Bill Spend and Expense platforms highly desirable. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software strongly preferred. u2022 Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. u2022 Demonstrated initiative and capacity to take on accounting-level responsibilities.
