Sr. Software Engineer

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Linux-based systems and embedded engineering. You will play a key part in developing and supporting advanced software solutions while leveraging your expertise in C++, .NET, and related technologies. Responsibilities: u2022 Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Linux-based system development and deployment. u2022 Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for a variety of projects. u2022 Utilize your expertise in C++ and firmware development to create high-quality applications. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components. u2022 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers and team members. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Linux environments. u2022 Apply knowledge of electronics and embedded system design to enhance performance and reliability. u2022 Contribute to the development of innovative solutions using React.js and JavaScript. u2022 Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards throughout the development process. u2022 Support projects with a focus on financial industry requirements, if applicable. Requirements u2022 Extensive experience in software development with a focus on Linux-based systems. u2022 Proficiency in C++ and firmware development. u2022 Background in electronics or embedded engineering and design. u2022 Strong knowledge of .NET framework and ASP.NET. u2022 Hands-on experience with React.js and JavaScript. u2022 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges. u2022 Familiarity with financial industry software development is a plus. u2022 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
