This role reports to the President of BV Operations and provides direct leadership to Managers of Construction supporting various sectors and regions. The position requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, foster a culture of safety and inclusion, and deliver superior project outcomes through effective team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities u2022 Lead and mentor Managers of Construction across multiple sectors and geographies, ensuring alignment with global construction strategy and organizational goals. u2022 Translate the Enterprise strategy into actionable execution plans, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. u2022 Develop and implement standardized processes, best practices, and performance metrics for construction execution globally. u2022 Foster a culture of safety, quality, and ethical conduct, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. u2022 Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within construction teams. u2022 Oversee the execution of all construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. u2022 Monitor project performance, proactively address issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. u2022 Ensure all construction operations comply with company safety manuals, health programs, and quality standards. u2022 Provide oversight and support during project execution, including site visits and direct engagement with project teams. u2022 Develop and manage staffing plans, succession planning, and talent development for the construction execution organization. u2022 Attract, develop, and retain high-performing teams, building robust succession pipelines in collaboration with the Global Manager of Construction Operations. u2022 Develop and manage budgets for construction execution, ensuring financial targets are met. u2022 Drive margin improvement, resource optimization, and cost control across all projects. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory agencies. u2022 Serve as a trusted advisor to project teams and senior leadership, providing expert guidance on construction execution matters. Core Competencies u2022 Strategic mindset and business acumen u2022 Effective collaboration and organizational influence u2022 Strong communication and relationship-building skills u2022 Leadership and talent development u2022 Results orientation and accountability u2022 Safety and quality focus u2022 Problem-solving and decision-making u2022 Change management and continuous improvement u2022 Cultural awareness and global perspective Preferred Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience) u2022 15+ years of progressive construction and/or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) experience, including significant leadership responsibility u2022 Demonstrated experience managing large, complex construction projects and teams u2022 Proven track record of driving safety, quality, and financial performance in construction u2022 Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required u2022 Successful completion of pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.) Minimum Qualifications u2022 Advanced degree in construction management, engineering, or business u2022 Global EPC experience, including work in diverse sectors (power, renewables, water, oil & gas, telecom, etc.) u2022 Experience with self-perform and subcontracted construction delivery models u2022 Demonstrated success in talent management, succession planning, and organizational development u2022 Experience with business development, client interface, and proposal management u2022 Relevant certifications (OSHA, Risk Management, Project Management) u2022 Experience with union and non-union environments u2022 Knowledge of national and international construction agreements and regulatory requirements Work Environment/Physical Demands Typical office environment Including sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
