This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.What is expected of you and others at this levelApplies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projectsMay contribute to the development of policies and proceduresWorks on complex projects of large scopeCreates templates and standards for the teamDevelops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsSolutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectivesCompletes work; independently receives general guidance on new projectsWork reviewed for purpose of meeting objectivesMentor less experienced colleaguesResponsibilities:Analyze business requirements and design of Legacy ERP (FACTS) solutions for procurement, accounting, pricing, contracts and rebates, chargebacks, supply chain, master data.Develop, test, manage and support Legacy ERP programs with Business Basic (BBx Pro5)Follow/enhance the existing coding/testing standards set by the teamAutomating functional/regression testingClosely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings on the FACTS platformResponsible for the KPI's and BPM metrics that support current and future Harvard Major Rugby and FirstVet business units.Support the integration with other applications like EDI/CRM/iContracts/Manhattan Active/Manhattan SCALE/Websites/Salesforce/SOVOS(Tax)Partner with Business Analyst to help build process diagramsBuild detail documentation on current FACTS programs, HLD documents, implementation documents based on standards.Stay updated on the latest Business Basic advancements and recommend upgrades or innovationsClosely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goalsClosely work with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operationsServes as a liaison between the organization's businesses analysts and IT systems development teams to help build design/process documents.Analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and develop/enhance solutionsDocuments relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)Translates business requirements into application requirementsPartners with business leaders and project teams to identify business needs and deliver solutionsEnables business units to achieve their operational and commercial objectivesQualifications:Experience operating in an Agile environment (Scrum)Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA), practices and processesExtensive experience developing ERP applications using Business Basic (BBx)Extensive knowledge of best practices Business Basic (BBx) development.Experience building automated regression testing suits.Experience building automated test data generation solutions.Understanding of business processes and how they apply to ERP and other solutions8-10 years of Business Basic (BBx) development experience preferredExperience with Database technologies, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres etc.Experience with Linux (RedHat) and cloud technologies (Google cloud/AWS)Experience with SAP functional or legacy ERP migration to SAP RISE would be a plus.General knowledge of IT and business relationships and the importance of maintaining the balancePossesses the aptitude to learn new applicationsAnticipated salary range:$94,900 - $135,600Bonus eligible:NoBenefits:Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close:03/09/2026 if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
