Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst Consultant to join our team on a long-term engagement. This onsite role is located in Southfield, Michigan, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a dynamic industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and advanced systems experience, particularly with OneStream. The day-to-day responsibilities include: u2022 Lead annual financial planning and monthly or quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accurate revenue and expense projections. u2022 Develop and maintain complex financial models to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. u2022 Prepare comprehensive management reporting packages, including dashboards and operational updates, to support decision-making. u2022 Utilize deep expertise in OneStream to create and manage reporting solutions, going beyond basic data pulling to deliver actionable insights. u2022 Build centralized reporting systems and distribute timely, accurate reports to stakeholders. u2022 Perform data reconciliation processes to verify the accuracy of financial information. u2022 Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and address queries during budgeting and forecasting cycles. u2022 Drive automation and implement process improvements across financial planning and analysis functions. u2022 Support stakeholders with detailed financial insights and recommendations to enhance operational performance. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: u2022 A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 4-6 years focused on financial analysis and planning. u2022 Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data mining techniques. u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in OneStream systems, with extensive hands-on experience. u2022 Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, with automotive sector knowledge being a strong advantage. u2022 Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis. u2022 Proficient in delivering management reporting packages and actionable insights. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to changing business needs.
