Core Job Responsibilities u2022 Assists the Project Manager in achieving project deadlines and milestones u2022 Communicates and collaborates with the entire project team to facilitate project goals and initiatives u2022 Identifies procurement needs and mitigates risks such as lead times and part availability u2022 Creates new part numbers and symbols for use in designs and maintains the Bill of Materials (BOM) for products in NIu2019s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) u2022 Responsible for project logistics and maintaining accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing jobs u2022 Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables are completed on time u2022 Follows-up and thoroughly tracks results of all assigned tasks Basic Qualifications u2022 Detail-oriented u2022 Exhibits initiative & persistence to overcome obstacles to meet project goals u2022 Works well in a team environment u2022 Follows existing processes and identifies and escalates any process deficiencies u2022 Strong organizational and time management skills u2022 Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to respective deadlines u2022 Capable of learning and retaining technical information (required for part creation and BOM management) u2022 Ability to coordinate and work across groups/departments u2022 Thorough competence with Microsoft Office suite u2022 High School diploma (or GED equivalent) Preferred Qualifications u2022 Experience supporting engineering groups in a corporate environment u2022 Experience using Oracle (including Agile PLM and E-Business) WHY EMERSON Our Commitment to Our People At Emerson, we are motivated by a spirit of collaboration that helps our diverse, multicultural teams across the world drive innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
