JOB REQUIREMENTS: This is an on-site, full-time job in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. Shipping & Receiving/Packaging: Duties include, but are notlimited to: cleaning/counting/sorting pipe; packaging orders; makingboxes; labeling; use of FedEx and UPS software. Other duties requiredsuch as wrapping pallets, washing & bundling pipe, overhead motorizedhoist, loading customer orders. Forklift experience preferred, but willtrain. Certification not necessary. This is a machine shop and the workis dirty. Uniforms are not provided, so a dedicated wardrobe isrecommended for this work. Hours are M-F 8am -4:30pm. Overtime notlikely. This job requires standing & some heavy lifting over 25 lbs. Useof typical packaging tools like scales, box cutters, tape guns, etc. DoNot Call. Prepare documents, such as workorders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Examineshipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices,or orders, to verify accuracy. Pack, seal, label, or affix postage toprepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, orpostage meter. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, spaceavailability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, orrecordkeeping purposes. Confer or correspond with establishmentrepresentatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, ornonconformance to specifications. Determine shipping methods, routes, orrates for materials to be shipped.
