JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Love great conversation and the chance tomeet new people from all parts of the globe? As a Cocktail Server, youwill be working in a dynamic environment, connecting with guests andbuilding relationships. Among the social aspect of a Cocktail Server,you will provide the one-of-a-kind food and beverage to our guests in afriendly, timely manner. The ideal candidate will have at least one yearof experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Check and maintain proper set-upand cleanliness of service station before, during, and after shift. 2.Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain allspecials, promotions, and snacks. 3. Take orders, recite selection ofall call and premium brands as requested - this will requirememorization of all available drinks, beer, and taps. 4. Provideappropriate snack and garnish with all beverages. 5. Input orders intopoint of sale system in a timely fashion to inform bartender an orderwas made. 6. Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with thebar area. 7. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking backwith guest to inquire about satisfaction. 8. Present the guest with thecheck promptly, thank them and invite them to return. 9. Perform allassigned side work and complete daily checklist. 10. Perform generalcleaning tasks, use standard cleaning products as assigned by yoursupervisor to adhere to health standards. 11. Maintain condition andcleanliness of work area. 12. Perform other duties and responsibilitiesas requested e.g., special guest requests. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1.Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and serviceof various alcoholic beverages. 2. Knowledge of the appropriate tablesettings, service ware, and menu items. 3. Ability to read, sufficientto understand menus and special promotions, speak and write the Englishlanguage to communicate with the guest, and take orders. 4. Ability toremember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items. 5. Ability totransport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on acontinuous basis throughout shift. 6. Must adhere to all State, Federal,and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholicbeverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are beingfollowed. 7. Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift. 8. Work as ateam player. 9. Ability to remain motivated during busy and slow periodswithin shift. 10. Cash handling and self-banking position, requiresability to maintain funds, and accurately count back charge. 11. Abilityto operate a keyboard and learn point of sale procedures to pre-check anorder and close out a check 12. No prior experience required. 13.Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. TIPSand Bartender certification preferred.
