Job Title: BAS Low-Voltage Foreman Department: Controls FLSA Status: Hourly Reports to: Field Operations Supervisor, General Manager Salary: Commensurate with experience + Benefits JOB SUMMARY : MSI-ESIS seeks a BAS Low-Voltage Foreman to lead our install teams with the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with energy management systems including electric/electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components. Essential Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u2022 Read, review, and execute project related documents such as blueprints, drawings, project scope, budgets, deadlines, and sequence of operation for proper execution requirements u2022 Lead and teach installation apprentices and installers in the field. u2022 Create wire and conduit run plans and be able to communicate the plan to the team. u2022 Label and pull wires from beginning to end. u2022 Mount control panels and wire in power while using basic electrical tools. u2022 Mount junction boxes and other electrical connection devices. u2022 Installation of conduit and cabling management & support infrastructure systems while using basic electrical tools. u2022 Run and bend conduit as needed. u2022 Wire panels and devices with PTP drawings. u2022 Layout of Mechanical Room for conduit and device locations. u2022 Troubleshoot or identify communication issues. u2022 Map and install transformer banks. u2022 Troubleshoot and repair circuits, wiring, devices, and networks (know how to use a multimeter) u2022 Provide trust & leadership to your whole team as well as customers u2022 Attend job site meetings to represent & discuss work flow, scheduling and progress u2022 Build & wire BAS control panels (in-shop or in-field) u2022 Other Job Duties (Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might be assigned) u2022 Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs & ladders, walking and lifting of weights of 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: u2022 5-10+ yearsu2019 industry experience is desired u2022 Candidate is required to be organized, detail oriented and have time management skills. u2022 Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or in a team atmosphere while acting responsibly and maintaining a professional attitude. u2022 Must be able to work in constricted spaces. u2022 Valid Florida Driver's License. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: u2022 Demonstrate basic level aptitude as it relates to control systems. u2022 Good written and verbal communications skills. u2022 Knowledge of good customer service techniques. u2022 Congenial personality and a helpful attitude. u2022 Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and lifting of weights of 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing and pulling, and material handling. u2022 Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
