Description We are looking for a skilled litigation attorney to join our Healthcare Practice Group in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position requires expertise in handling complex medical malpractice cases and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in complex medical malpractice litigation involving significant injury and loss. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and reviewing evidence. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and prepare for trial. u2022 Advocate effectively in court proceedings, including hearings and trials. u2022 Utilize document management systems such as iManage to organize and maintain case files. u2022 Provide defense litigation services with a focus on healthcare-related matters. u2022 Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in case handling. u2022 Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed about case progress. u2022 Stay updated on relevant legal developments in healthcare and medical malpractice law. Requirements u2022 Licensed attorney with admission to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare litigation or medical malpractice cases. u2022 Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation. u2022 Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems. u2022 Exceptional analytical, communication, and advocacy skills. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. u2022 Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client representation.
