FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The GI Lab Supervisor isresponsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy academichealth system GI Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patientcare. This role provides leadership for clinical staff, managesresources to align with patient needs and budget targets, and drivescontinuous improvement in care delivery and operational performance. KeyResponsibilities: Supervise and coordinate GI Lab operations to ensuresafe, effective patient care. Manage scheduling, staffing, and resourcedeployment to support volume and productivity goals. Lead recruitment,retention, performance management, and staff development. Ensurecompliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Promotechange management, efficiency initiatives, and quality improvementefforts. Provide leadership and support in high-stress clinicalsituations Accountable for managing the delivery of safe, effective andefficient clinical services and patient care. This role is responsiblefor deploying flexible staffing resources in a manner that matches andaligns with patient needs within the budgeted productivity targetsacross the ambulatory environment. Services may also includecoordination of quality improvement initiatives, recruitment, retention,hiring, managing performance, and supporting the growth of staff.Ensures resources for clinical care are available. Ensures all clinicalwork is accomplished in accordance with policies and procedures.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2 years of experience in ahealthcare environment in a clinical role is required. Leadershipexperience preferred. Quality improvement, process improvement, teambuilding, problem solving and coaching experience is highly preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors degree in nursing is required. SPECIALSKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsare required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Clinical experience in GI or procedural settings; prior direct orindirect leadership experience preferred. Strong communication,problem-solving, and change management skills. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Required current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or aMulti-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (NurseLicensure Compact).
