JOB REQUIREMENTS: Division: Critical Facilities-Data Centers ProjectLocation(s): Minneapolis, MN 55401 USA Minimum Years Experience: TravelInvolved: 100% Job Type: Regular Job Classification: ExperiencedEducation: Job Family: Construction Compensation: Salaried Exempt This position is for a full time traveling assignment supporting anAdvanced Technology project, which includes our Data Center,Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewablesmarket segment groups (MSG). Position Description: Manage,evaluate, and assess information related to Mechanical and Electricalsystems necessary to construct the project on time in a safe manner,within budget, and to the quality specified by the contract documents.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Specifically relating to themechanical and electrical systems: Lead the Turner project team,subcontractors, owner's consultants and representatives to ensureoptimal alignment and efficient systems installation. Prepare and managethe contract item's list for all components, materials, and systems toensure that all ROJ dates are in compliance with the project schedulewith the appropriate approval status. Participate in schedule updatemeetings and provide the latest information for an informed and accurateschedule. Evaluate and manage the processing of RFI's. Manage thebudget including the review, evaluation, and negotiation of all changeorders with understanding of the financial status of all subcontractors.Supervise, coach and mentor Assistant MEP Engineers. Co-lead the MEPCoordination Process with the VDC Engineer, ensuring overallinstallation is in compliance with the design requirements, operationsand maintenance fundamentals, and quality standards. Prepare scope ofwork documents with a division of responsibility for trades and specificscopes of work for temporary operations. Partner with the MEPSuperintendent to resolve conflicts between the mechanical andelectrical systems with the site logistics plan and in compliance withthe project schedule. Co-lead with the MEP Superintendent the overallturnover process including start-up, testing, commissioning andcloseout. Conduct regular project walkthroughs with the MEP staff toensure that work is proceeding in accordance with the contractdocuments, coordination drawings, and approved submittals. Identify andinform field staff of difficult installation requirements in sufficienttime to allow for proper planning and execution. Manage and secure allmunicipal and agency documentation required for temporary certificatesof information and system operation.
