Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will oversee the coordination and tracking of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth communication and efficient scheduling. This contract position with the potential for long-term employment offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities: u2022 Participate in production meetings to document schedules, action items, and departmental requests. u2022 Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, project managers, and internal teams. u2022 Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and ensure timely communication of progress. u2022 Coordinate the procurement and staging of materials to support project timelines. u2022 Track project schedules and milestones to ensure timely completion and identify potential delays. u2022 Assist in preparing project closeout documentation and ensure all requirements are met. u2022 Organize and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other project-related documentation. u2022 Review construction plans and architectural drawings to understand project scope and requirements. u2022 Support the preparation of proposals, quotes, and bid packages by gathering and organizing necessary information. u2022 Collaborate with sales staff, technicians, and management to address customer requests and ensure material orders are completed efficiently. Requirements u2022 High school diploma required; college degree preferred. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Administrator or Project Coordinator, preferably in the construction industry. u2022 Proficiency in managing project timelines and schedules. u2022 Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate project records. u2022 Ability to review construction documents and understand project scopes. u2022 Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams. u2022 Excel proficiency is a must u2022 Problem-solving skills to anticipate and address potential project challenges.
