Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role requires advanced expertise in QuickBooks and a strong foundation in general accounting principles. The ideal candidate will excel at managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy while effectively communicating with both internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Record and reconcile daily deposits, including incoming wires and other financial transfers. u2022 Update and maintain financial records using QuickBooks to ensure data integrity. u2022 Reconcile expense accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Support month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks. u2022 Assist the accounting team with administrative duties and provide operational support. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and clients to address and resolve billing or payment issues promptly. u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies in all financial activities. Requirements u2022 At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory. u2022 Previous experience in trust accounting or the legal industry is highly desirable. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation. u2022 Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively manage deadlines. u2022 Associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, though not required. u2022 Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
