Be a part of a cutting edge analysis team for missiles and spacecraft systems Join us as an associate manager in the structural dynamics team In your role as an Associate Manager in the Structural Analysis Department, your primary focus will be to ensure the fulfillment of technical program requirements and the timely, cost-effective delivery of products. Your expertise will center on conducting both preliminary and detailed dynamic analyses of spacecraft and missile flight structures, employing advanced methods and tools. Your key responsibilities will include: u2022 Supervising a team of dynamic analysts providing support to various programs and lines of business. u2022 Providing guidance, mentorship, career development opportunities, and training to a team comprising 4 to 7 employees. u2022 Serving as the organization's representative during design reviews and interactions with external contracts and customers. u2022 Assisting in defining dynamic tests, specifying requirements, monitoring progress, conducting data reduction, and comparing results to the analysis. This should be carried out while considering other pertinent mechanical factors (such as thermal, dynamic, materials, etc.) and system-level requirements and parameters within the analyses. Desired Skills: A Master's degree is strongly preferred for this position u2022 Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment u2022 Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently u2022Experience evaluating designs using rigid body or flexible body analysis methods and tools u2022 Mechanisms, antenna, electronic component, ground support, hoisting, and test support equipment, and composite materials analysis experience u2022 Experience with NX/Nastran, Abaqus, ADAMS, LS-Dyna, Matlab, Mathcad or CREO u2022 Static, vibration, acoustic, modal, shock test experience of aerospace flight hardware u2022Creativity/innovation to tackle issues related to anomalous performance of any aspect of a mechanical system u2022Willingness to mentor junior analysts u2022Active Top Secret security clearance. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
