The Treasury Manager of Inventory Planning & Merchandising Analysis for overseeing and optimizing the inventory levels within the organization to ensure smooth supply chain operations, support sales performance and working capital management. This role also supports deeper insights into merchandising margin performance across inventory categories with close cross-functional partnership. This role involves forecasting ending inventory based on the demand plan, supply availability & lead times, and Inventory targets. The Inventory Planning Manager utilizes data analysis and coordination with procurement, merchandising, sales, and operations departments to align on Inventory needs with business goals. We foster a culture built around our Foundation Principles, which define how we approach our relationships with our employees, vendors, customers and communities and influence every aspect of our business.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide support for weekly cash forecasting and long term cash forecasting processPrepare financial analysis and materials for executive leadership and Board of Directors presentationsDrive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, reporting consistency, and financial planning processesForecast ending inventory and working capital impacts based on demand plans, supply availability, lead times, and inventory targetsSupport treasury forecasting by modeling the cash flow implications of inventory decisions, including receipt timing and inventory turnsAnalyze consolidated inventory positions and key metrics, including Days of Inventory, turnover, aging, and excess exposureProvide margin and profitability insights across inventory categories, pricing strategies, and promotional activityPartner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Retail Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Technology, and Treasury to align forecasts with business plansMaintain discretion related to confidential and sensitive company informationPerform other duties as assignedExperience and Skills Required · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Planning, or a related field3-5 years of experience in financial forecasting, treasury support, inventory planning, or a closely related roleStrong experience forecasting ending inventory and modeling working capital and cash flow impactsAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable financial recommendationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with forecasting or BI tools preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadersKnowledge of inventory-related financial metrics, including Days of Inventory, turnover, aging, and margin impactAbility to manage multiple priorities and make sound, data-driven decisionsBased in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with an onsite work requirementWe believe in taking care of our team.That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that goes beyond just health insurance (though we've got that covered too!).
