WellBe's physician-led care teams provide “concierge” level medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating care across the entire continuum - from chronic and urgent care in the home, to hospital, assisted living, and end of life care. JOB SUMMARYThis is an integral role at an innovative, fast-growing, private-equity backed healthcare company. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of accounts payable for the entire organization including but not limited to managing the accounts payable system, communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding invoicing and payment, reviewing for adherence to the company expense reimbursement policy and processes, and ensuring expenses are accurately recorded to the financial statements. As a main point of contact for the accounting function, this role will have exposure to all internal departments including clinical operations, IT, clinical development, and marketing. RESPONSIBILITIESAccurately and efficiently enter all vendor bills into the accounts payable system, Bill.comAnalyze and respond to both vendor and employee inquiries regarding the billing, payment, and reimbursement processesIdentify accounts payable errors and/or concerns and propose alternatives or improvementsWork with management to identify priority vendors/paymentsFollow up with management as necessary to ensure payments are remitted timelyReview and verify information in the AP system Bill.com to ensure proper invoice account coding, classification, and approvals routingReview vendor statements for accuracyProfessionally communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies and reconciliationsReview employee expense reimbursement Expensify submissions for appropriate coding, receipt/support, and authorizationComply with federal, state, and local requirements for vendor reporting (including W-9 and 1099 reporting)Review supplier invoices to ensure sales and use taxes are recorded correctly and paid as necessaryMaintenance and organization of accounts payable files and records including vendor contractsTake on additional responsibilities and ad hoc projects as they ariseREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of AP experienceGeneral ledger experience and understanding of basic accounting principlesStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build internal relationships across departmentsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Expensify and Bill.comAccounting or bookkeeping experienceExperience in healthcare industryPERFORMANCE INDICATORSAccurate invoice and expense reimbursement coding and classificationTimely and accurate invoice processing/paymentDemonstration of WellBe’s valuesWork EnvironmentOnsite with Hybrid options following onboarding.Pay Range$60,000-65,000OTHERSupervisory Responsibility: This role has no direct reportsTravel Requirements: Travel may be required up to 10% locally or nationallyWork Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
