Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

i3 is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to perform a variety of duties. This position will be located at an i3 Facility in Huntsville, ALResponsibilities:Use discretion and independent judgement while overseeing the shipping and receiving process for assigned locationCollaborate with internal programs in creating processes for specific inbound/outbound shipments based on program specific needsReceive and distribute packages Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defectsVerify packages according to order and invoicesMaintain documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventoryDetermine the best method of packing products to ensure adequate product protection during transitCoordinate with carriers or transportation services to schedule and load outgoing shipmentsAssist with inventory control Loads and unloads trailers and pallets efficiently and safelyAssist the Government Property Point of Contact (POC) as necessaryPerforms other related duties as assignedEducation/ExperienceBachelor's degree preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required Prior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experienceData entry experience requiredOutlook email proficiency requiredPrior experience using forklifts and pallet jacks is preferredU. S. Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion.
